Users are permitted to view the content on our site. Normally, the site does not disclose any personal information, except for information of the geographical location of the person who has placed an ad.

However, by providing us with your personal information or by registering or expressing interest in any item on iBuyWeSell, you agree to the collection, transfer, storage and use of your personal information by iBuyWeSell on servers located in the United States of America. You also agree that your personal information may be used for purposes of sending you marketing communications from us, unless you inform us that you do not want to receive such communications. • When you register for an account we collect contact information like name, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses.

• When you interact with your account: such as updating or adding information to your account, adding items to watchlist and searches to favorite list. Also you may also give us your gender.
• Information data such as IP addresses- Geo Location is used to provide a good user experience.
• Computer and connection information such as statistics on your page views, traffic to and from the sites, referral URL, ad data, your IP address, your browsing history and your web log information.
• When you contact us through a web form or communicate with the Seller via request contact form we track and keep record of that communication for the protection purpose of the Buyer.

iBuyWeSell website uses cookies. Session cookies are temporary text files which are stored on your computer when you visit the website but are erased when you close your web browser. iBuywesell use's an 3rd party technology called OpenID process for convenient registration of a new user. For that purpose we are using information from social media site, Facebook when you use this site for OpenID registration. This site give us automatically access to some personal information they hold about you but we are collecting only some of them: email address, first and last name and profile link. You control the personal information we have access to through your privacy settings on the social media site and the permissions you give us when you grant us access. When you grant us access to information held by social media sites you agree that we may collect, use and retain it in accordance with this Privacy Notice.

iBuyWeSell may assist the police or other authority and insurance companies with information regarding illegal activity in the ads. The identity of an advertiser or the person interested in an ad can be identified by the internet provider through IP-addresses.

How we use your personal information

iBuyWesell pulls in basic profile data from authentication providers to ease sign-up and registration for new users. This profile data may include all or some of the following: name, email, address, gender, birthday, timezone, website, phone number, profile picture and address.

We use users personal information to provide our services, resolve disputes, customer support and troubleshoot problems, customize our users experience, measure interest in our services, and inform users about services and updates, communicate marketing and promotional offers to you, prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities, and enforce our User agreement. No Spam, Spyware, or Spoofing

We and our users do not tolerate spam. Make sure to set your iBuyWeSell communication preferences so we communicate to you as you prefer. You are not allowed to add other iBuyWeSell users, even a user who has purchased an item from you, to your mailing list (email or physical mail) without their express consent. To report iBuyWeSell-related spam or spoof emails to iBuyWeSell, please forward the email to support@ibuywesell.com. You may not use our communication tools to send spam or otherwise send content that would violate our User Agreement. We automatically scan and may manually filter ads to check for spam, viruses, phishing attacks and other malicious activity or illegal or prohibited content, but we do not permanently store messages sent through these tools. If you send an email to an email address that is not registered in our community (via Refer-a-Friend or other tools), we do not permanently store that email or use that email address for any marketing purpose. We do not rent or sell these email addresses.

We take no responsibility for the responses that may be forwarded to you as part of our Service. If you have placed an ad, you may receive responses that are created automatically or that are not serious or that may be inappropriate. We have no possibility to control such responses, but once an inappropriate response is reported to us, we take all reasonable measures to prevent such response to be repeated.
