PHFI excels itself by ultimate award for Q Contribution to Healthcare

New Delhi: PHFI (Public Health Foundation of India) is an institution that tirelessly strives for better without resting on its laurels. The Quality Council of India (QCI) bestowed on PHFI, the architect of Universal Health Coverage (UHC)concept, the prestigious QCI- DL Shah Platinum award for skill building of primary care physicians in chronic conditions in India. The Platinum award was presented to PHFI by Baijayant Jay Panda, MP (Lok Sabha) and Amitabh Kant, CEO, Niti Aayog during inaugural session of the 12th National Quality Conclave. PHFI, the apex policy expert body in the country, carries the conviction that Universal Health Coverage (UHC), a vision component of National Health Policy, 2017 can only be a reality when a robust primary health system is in place. PHFI has been contributing greatly to this end. The ultimate award is a testimony to its efforts to raise India’s health to global standards. The award is recognition of PHFI’s outstanding contribution to skill building initiatives and advancement of knowledge in the Indian healthcare sector. Professor K.
