Stainless-Steel Slip-on flanges are the type of flange that slips on over the pipe. These types of flanges have an innermost diameter that is a little bit bigger than the outer diameter of the pipe. Essentially, SS Slip-on pipe flanges are a ring placed over the end of the pipe and the face of the flange ranges from the pipe end. If Type C stub ends or Type B stub ends are used, these types of flanges can also be used as lap joint flanges. Flange slip-on type is easier to align and associated with weld neck flanges, the physical cost is lesser. On the back of this kind of flange, is welded the OD of this flange.
