These massager modes are what are known as Auto Procedures. They have a a preprogrammed set of pulsing intensity and speed values which you can’t change when you set the device to operate on one of those massage modes. Those massage modes are pre-set so you just touch the button and the device will do all the work on massaging that specific area of the body. For example, for massaging the sole of the feet, it would make sense that the massage would have a higher than average signal in intensity but the speed of it would be slower.
